Asia is 7!

I can't believe my sweet princess Asia is 7 already! My how the time flies! She is turning into quite a little Takara as my mom and dad tell me. She's very strong-willed, stubborn, and has to do things her way or no way. (just like her mommy!) But she is also a very good helper, especially with our two youngest. She will even change diapers! She loves going to school and learning new things. She has to be the best at everything; whether it's having the neatest handwriting, or passing off all of her "mad minutes", or getting the most AR points. She's turning into quite the little perfectionist in some areas... not like me at all! (sarcasm intended!) But her favorite thing to do is play with her friends. She always wants to have friends over to play Barbies, or Polly Pockets, or to just goof around. She also loves to just snuggle too. We love our Asia!

So on her "real" birthday day, she wanted to have huckleberry pancakes and scrambled eggs for breakfast. She also got to have it in bed!
Then that day we took her out to Arctic Circle for lunch. Even Ethan and Daddy got to come. She had fun playing on the toys and eating her cheeseburger, fries, and kiddie cone. For dinner Asia ordered pepperoni pizza and ham and pineapple pizza. Then it was time to open presents. Lots of Polly Pockets, clothes, Barbies, and make-up:

Then on the Saturday after her birthday, she had a friend party. We went to a beauty school in town and they all got to have their hair and nails done. They all loved it! Here they all are with their funky nails: Anaya, Asia, Teja, Courtney, and Mara
And here's the back of their fancy hair:
Then it was cake time. I had to re-do the original cake since Asia thought it looked weird. Here's the first version. I had extra fondant that I didn't want to go to waste, so I made balls and put them on top. I told Asia they were fireworks. She didn't think so! Ha!
So here's the second version, which is a lot cuter!
Time to blow out the candles:
And eat the cake:
And a little playtime:
So much fun! Now onto the next November birthday...
