Disneyland!

A couple of months ago I won a trip for 4 to Disneyland from one of our local radio stations. We were so excited! We waited and waited for 2 months and finally it was time to go. My mom, dad, and sister, Christina came and stayed at our house with Jacob and Mia. Then it was off to Salt Lake to fly to California. We had fun in the fountains at the Gateway Mall while in Salt Lake. The next day we got up at 6, had breakfast at the hotel, and then it was off to the airport to wait for our plane.

And onto the plane and off to California we go! The kids had never been on a plane before so it was a really fun and new experience for them. Asia was a little uneasy at first because she didn't know what to expect. But once we were in the air she relaxed and enjoyed the ride. Ethan loved everything about his first plane experience. He sat with his dad and asked him all kinds of questions and looked out the window the whole time we were in the air. They especially loved the peanuts, cookies, and pop that they got.

We flew into Long Beach, took a shuttle van to our hotel, and then it was off to play at Disneyland! I think we went on most of the rides our first day there.

Here's Tarzan's Treehouse:

Here's the Haunted Mansion. We went on this one about 4 times!
Thunder Mountain:
Of course the Tea Cups:

Space Mountain:
Buzz Lightyear:
Star Tours:
And at the front of Disneyland:

There are more rides and pictures, but I think that is enough for today. This was just the first day. More to come...
