November Birthdays

Here I am playing catch-up again! Story of my life! Ha! Anyway, we celebrated Asia's birthday at the beginning of this month with a family party. We invited all of the family over for cake and ice cream. She ordered Hawaiian pizza for her dinner with root beer of course. Then the family came over to open presents and eat cake. She wanted a princess castle cake again so this is how it turned out, moat with blue jell-o, drawbridge and everything:
Opening presents time:
All of her loot: Here is our beautiful birthday girl, enjoying her birthday cake:Asia is turning into quite a helpful and kind little girl. She helps me out so much. She likes to have jobs where she can do things like mommy does them; like doing the dishes and getting the babies ready for bed. She'll be a great little babysitter in a few years. She is very tall and people wonder if her and Ethan are twins! She loves to go to dance class with her friend, Mara, and she still loves to dress up and dance to music at home. She wants to learn how to play the piano and she had fun playing soccer for the first time this fall. She was the fastest runner because of her looooong legs! Her favorite thing to do is color with her mom. She's loves going to school and is trying to read chapter books already! It's fun to watch her learn so many new things and to see how excited she gets when does learn something new. Happy 6th Birthday my sweet Asia! :)

Mia Turns One!!

We celebrated Mia's birthday a few days early since we'd be on our cruise the day of her birthday. Here she is enjoying her favorite meal of pancakes and eggs:

Here's her doughnut cake. I decided since we just had cake last week, we would have doughnuts this week. Mia loved them:The classic 1st birthday chocolate face and hands:

Mmmmmm, finger-lickin' good:

New hat and gloves from Grandma Yamada:Mia has been such a good-natured, happy little baby. She loves to follow her older brothers and sister around and tries to do what they do. She just learned to walk a few weeks before her first birthday, so it's cute to see her waddle after them! She loves to read books and turns the pages all by herself. Just like her mom, she doesn't like to wear socks. When she notices them on her feet, off they come. She likes to dance and sing. Her favorite song right now is Itsy Bitsy Spider and she does all of the actions. She still sucks her thumb, mostly when she's tired or upset. She doesn't like anything in her hair and pulls everything out that I try and put in. She's a fun little girl to have around. Happy Birthday our Princess Mia! We Love You!

Remember we used to dress up and dance and sing to the Mini Pops!!!!

Cool cakes, I'm sad I missed them. Mia looks really cute in the hat Mom gave her. Her cheeks need a little pinch from me!

Hat and gloves are so cute on her! The donut cake looks way yummy, too. Can't believe it's been a year!

Oh, ya, and the castle cake looks great! I'll probably have to learn to do that soon.
