Happy 10th Anniversary!

WOW! Ten years have flown by. It seems like just yesterday we were hanging out in Grandma's basement in Rexburg, listening to Guitar's Unplugged that we held every Sunday night. Good times! Anyway, yes, it was Mike and I's tenth anniversary on the 8th. He came home for lunch that day with his Mom and Dad and I wondered what was going on. He had his Mom and Dad watch the kids while he took me out to lunch. He also bought me a tomato plant and a rose bush. He knows I don't like flowers that die in two days, so he bought ones that'll last longer, hopefully!

Later that night we got a babysitter and went to the Whitewater Grill for dinner. Then we went to a movie. I think it was Wolverine but I can't remember! It was almost a whole month ago you know! I'm losing it!

Then on Monday night we flew to Las Vegas. Ethan stayed with Craig's, Asia stayed with Russ and Joy, and Mom, Dad and Naomi stayed at our house with the 2 babies. Thanks to all of them for their help. We couldn't have done it without them.

Las Vegas was a blast! It was so nice and hot too. We played in and around the pool everyday and got a nice tan (a nice burn for Michael!) We were able to see The Phantom of the Opera at the Venetian. It was pretty cool, but I think I liked the one I saw in Calgary better. Better effects I think.

There's always something to do in Vegas. We stayed in the same resort that we stayed in at Spring Break. They have the best deal! We get a continental breakfast, we save some bread and sandwich makings for lunch, and then they even have little snacks at dinnertime! We really didn't even have to eat out at all, but we did a couple of times anyway. We gorged ourself at the buffet in the Planet Hollywood. We even got it at a discount, but we still had to get our 5 bucks worth. Yuck. That's why we don't do buffets very often!

Mike told the front desk people at the resort that it was our 10th anniversary, so the second day we were there we came back to our room and there was this basket on our bed filled with 2 robes and slippers and chocolates and a couple of goodie bags. It was so sweet of them.

We walked through most of the hotels and casinos just to see everything. When we walked into the Bellagio, we ran into what looked like a transvestite convention. I've never seen so many cross-dressers in one place at one time! Quite interesting!
Check out his/her muscley back in the black and white dress. SEXY!

And of course we had to check out the fountains at the Bellagio. They're always a good FREE show.

Anyway, it's been quite an amazing, fun, crazy, hectic, learning, loving, growing 10 years and the next 10 will only get better! I love you Michael, my little sugar nugget!! TeeHee!
